psst!
Hey! What the heck is that? Psst? Sounds rude doesn't it...or maybe an embarrassing body sound? psst!
psst!...an acronym using a bit of onomatopoeia to make a point: a sound used to catch someone's attention when you're being overlooked. The Bird is a Word!
Since time immemorial fighters have asked each other, "What's the word?" Since Vietnam, the word is "Bird"!
Another generation! But, it is all the same!

Boy that video says it all Shane. I think you have to get older to fully appreciate the insanity of war and the people who start them.
I was born in 1960 and can remember watching the nightly body counts on our black and white T.V. during the Vietnam War. Half of the "kids" in Iraq and Afghanistan hadn't even been born yet.
As you may or may not know I come from a long line of military myself. Grandfather, father, sister, uncle........
I was raised in a very conservative Republican part of CA and can see the military from both sides. Funny isn't it? Not really.
I bet if you did a census less than 10% of the American population knows what a "bird" is. But they do know where the local shopping mall is. Never ceases to amaze me!
I'd still like to know how I can post this on my FB wall?
